At Oak Meadows Hatchery, we sourced our jumbo Brown Coturnix breeding stock from Thieving Otter Farm, which carefully selected their line from a JMF partner farm. These quail are true jumbo Coturnix, bred for both meat production and high egg yield. Our birds have been chosen for their calm temperament, excellent size, strong conformation, and outstanding egg-laying ability.

• Size: Jumbo – Our largest line, with birds averaging 14-16 ounces.
• Feather-Sexable: Yes! Males have a rust-colored breast without spots, while hens feature a cream-colored, spotted breast.
• Egg Size: Extra-large! These eggs are so big, you may need to check if they fit in your incubator’s quail egg turners!
• Breeds True: Yes! Every hatch from this line will produce 100% jumbo Brown Coturnix quail.
